Taste
For those of you who don't know, Paton's is a famous "Australian" brand aimed at the tourist market. Indeed, their products are available at the airport and all the Duty Free outlets. So in the interest of research, I thought I'll see what the tourists are getting fed as "Australian chocolate".
These are one of the most famous of their brands, with whole macadamia nuts coated in crunchy toffee, then coated with milk chocolate. The macadamias themselves are good quality, the milk chocolate coating just the right thickness, but of course I would prefer dark. As far as milk chocolates go these were passable. I'm not sure if the toffee added anything at all.

Adding to the Australianess of the packaging. The box comes with individual compartments for each piece of chocolate. A big box for very little chocolate really, but at least all the pieces are in great condition.
