Coffee Club Cappuccino

Taste

We continued our experiment, and ordered 1 skim, and 1 normal cappuccino. The results - the skim had frothier milk, but it was only warm, and didn't have that nutty aroma that the normal one seem to have. This can't be down to the milk, that had to do with the espresso itself. Do baristas look down at people who drink skim? Is that why we kept getting skim coffees that are worst than their regular counterpart?

Look

The Coffee Club here was situated in a prime tourist spot, right in the middle of Cavil Ave. But hey, we weren't here to admire the scenery, we wanted to hit the beach. We ended up leaving though 2 NWs before we got our drinks though.

The takeaway came with the obligatory lids, and also extra paper wrapping around the cup for easier holding a la Starbucks.

C-factor

We used the 2 for 1 coupon to get 2 medium coffees for $3.60. A bit expensive for some average tasting coffee, but in the middle of the tourist strip, very acceptable.

What was unacceptable though, was the >10 mins wait for our takeaway drinks!
