House of Anvers Chocolate

Taste

I picked up these goodies on a recent trip to Tassie.

    Truffles:
  • Rum-Raisin - alcoholic enough for my taste
  • hazelnut mousse - smooth
  • Ganache - This was MEGA yum, a fine mixture of cream and chocolate, simplicity at its best.
  • strawberry - not too sweet but with distinct taste of strawberry
  • mocha - with dark chocolate and smooth creme
  • orange - a strong orange taste and matches very well with the dark chocolate
    Fudge:
  • mocha - sweet coffee taste but still retaining the chocolate smoothness
    Chocolate:
  • Dark Orange - dark chocolate so totally yum!
  • Macadamia - not that much macadamia flavour but yummy nevertheless
  • Praline - yum!!
  • Mouse - dark chocolate Turkish delight. Very nice and not too sweet.

Look

You can buy them pre-packaged but we chose from the display. It was all put in a little carry box and tied with your choice of colour ribbons.

C-factor

Truffles were $0.70, Fudge $0.80, chocolate $0.90. Mega cheap for good quality handmade chocolate. At the factory shop, you can even buy broken pieces or 1kg truffles at a discount…not to mention all the taste testing.
