The Home Baked Cookie Co

Taste

I picked up a few of these varieties from The Home Baked Cookie Co:

  • 80g cranberry and white chocolate (gluten free) - has a jammy sweet flavour but is very buttery and not too sweet
  • 80g triple chocolate dream (gluten free) - very dry and not much chocolate taste, and certainly not of dark chocolate
  • Macadamia & White Chocolate - not bad for white chocolate biscuits, there wasn’t too much macadamia though
  • Zesty lemon shortbread - my pick of the bunch. Sweet with a subtle link of lemon, very buttery
All in all, except for the disappointing chocolate, they’re very yummy.

Look

I got this as part of a Christmas Gift Set, that came with a set of latte mugs with a different biscuit in each. The biscuits look like the rough and ready variety, but the Robert Gordon mugs were pretty cute, in different colours, with a nice ribbon to tie the box up too!

The cannister set came with another Robert Gordon mug with a lid this time.

C-factor

The Triple Chocolate Dream 50g + brown cannister was $9.95. The Latte Set, consisting of 4 bags of 80g Gourmet Cookie and four mugs for$29.95. Not bad considering normal gourmet cookies cost about the same.
