Max Brenner Block Equador

Taste

I am a bit surprised about this single origin block. I've had Max Brenner chocolates many times before, and even visited the shop! And they've always striked me as better than average, but not spectacular. However, this chocolate, containing 70% cocoa is very complex. When they talk about aromas in chocolate, I can actually taste it here. Don't get me wrong though, this is not one of those yuppy chocolate where it is all talk and no substance, the chocolate is pleasant all on its own, and even better when used to make some delectable chocolate truffles.

Look

Max Brenner packagings are always interesting and this one didn't disappoint. It comes in a clear plastic container with a slide reseal. It's what it says on the packaging, a block. You can use it to grate small amounts, cut it up for cooking, or just eat it.
