Dolce Espresso Bar

Taste

I tried the summer juice ($4) - It was quite lovely. It was actually "summary", fresh and not too sweet, but very refreshing. The next occasion I didn't go as healthy, taking up a cappuccino ($3). They use Segafredo beans, which I usually find is more bitter. Their coffee is bitter, but not as much as other Segafredo places like BeanBah or Patissseria Papa.

Look

This is situated in the newly opened Deutsche Bank Place foyer. The area is enclosed by glass on 2 sides, with a row of shops lining the other, and the last side opened to the elements. There are several fountains and these shimmering squares hanging from the ceilings. The atmosphere is surprisingly peaceful and quiet. The cafe has that slick modern look too. They also do coffee art if you are interested in that.

C-factor

It's actually cheaper than some of the other places around. I think because it's hidden in the foyer of an office block it's not really discovered yet.
