Recently discovered a new (to me) cafe near work. It's called Beanbah Espresso @ Shop 1, 235 Macquarie St, Sydney NSW 2000. It's a small cafe, light and airy, with great service, and according to me, the best coffee on this side of town. The food is supposed to be great too although I haven't tried it yet, but it certainly looks good!
Have been there twice this week, a pretty good record since I normally don't even drink coffee!
So.... the 1st Annual Great Beans awards for cafes near work goes to....
- BeanBah Espresso - reasons stated above
- Lindt's Cafe - great hot chocolate but too overrated and too expensive
- Silks Cafe - variable coffee but funky colour
- Bond Cafe - good service and great for chat, but pretty terrible coffee
