GBK Canary Wharf 2

Off to GBK again…but they were running another special… and during credit crunch time, and the fact that we were in Canary Wharf, meant this was not a bad option.

Food

We had the Pesterella (£7.95) -100% Aberdeen-Angus Scotch beef, pesto, mozzarella, salad, mayonnaise & relish . The juicy patty was cooked to order. There was not too much ingredients on this, and paired quite well. The pesto was a bit weak, although the beef was tasty and juicy so didn’t really need the sauce.

The Avocado Bacon (£7.95) - 100% Aberdeen-Angus Scotch beef, avocado, streaky bacon, salad, mayonnaise & relish was more fatty, more salty, and probably more tasty too. Same great beef though.

As usual, we had the cool milkshakes, which comes in the old fashioned silver tin. The Lime milkshake (£3.55) tasted like a tangy lime cheesecake. The Oreo milkshake (£3.55), and tastes really good – with real Oreo pieces.
